MN Governor, Tim Walz’s Office Allows For Golf To Finally Be Played In Minnesota!!!
Westfield GC will OPENS for the 2020 golf season on, April 18, 2020!!!
We were hoping to have a bit more warning, but nonetheless, we are opening. However, there will be some MAJOR, and MANDATORY RESTRICTIONS on things, and things will look a bit different than they you are used to. We must ALL do our part to make sure things run smoothly and the best we can have them run, under these unprecedented times.
We will take tee times tomorrow. We will take tee times on our regular schedule of weekend to weekend, and two days out from that day for weekday play. For the time being, to control traffic, and to make sure we all abide by the strict physical distancing guidelines, we will have tee times run every 10 minutes, instead of the 7 to 8 minute intervals we are used to.
We ARE allowing carts to be used, but rented and private carts. HOWEVER, ALL PRIVATE CARTS MUST ALSO ABIDE BY THE SOCIAL/PHYSICAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! These are…
- ONE rider per cart, unless the riders of the cart reside within the same household, then TWO may ride on the same cart. You will be expected to have one person walk and the other person ride, although you can have two bags on one cart, if desired.
- A single rider will be charged just the 1/2 seat price
- We only have 25 rental motorized carts, which will be on a first come, first served basis. If we are out of carts, you may have to wait a bit, since we can not shuttle one out to you when available..
The PRO SHOP is CLOSED to PUBLIC ACCESS. Transactions will be done over the phone, (507) 452-6901, or through the make shift window in the hallway we have made, for green fees and season pass purchases, in order to keep staff and public safe as possible. Depending upon volume and traffic, there may be some delays in calling.
If there is frost in the mornings, we will be in frost delays and this may affect tee times.
No ball washers will be out, and no rakes in bunkers.
We have the holes filled most of the way with a portion of a pool floatie.. PLEASE LEAVE FLAG STICKS IN HOLES AND DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!!!
You are invited to bring your own antibacterial wipes, masks, and hand sanitizer for your own private usage.
No more than 4 to a group, and physical distancing MUST be adhered to at ALL TIMES!!!
Minimal numbers of people allowed on practice putting green at a time.
Range will be open.

The Governor can shut us down as fast as we were allowed open to play!! Everyone is expected to do their part and abide by the Rules and Regulations in place. Those who do not wish to adhere to the temporary operational Rules and Regulations we have in place will be politely asked to leave without refund. No exceptions!!!
